1. This is not a job that I'm going to be doing for long

I knew you'd take it the wrong way. And I nearly didn't post it because of that, but then I decided I should anyway.

I already suspected that you wouldn't want to be doing this job for long. However, I feel you should be proud to that you've proved to yourself that you can do it. You might have hated it, but hardly anyone enjoys their work. And if you can hold down a regular job that you can bear and make your own way in life on your own merit, isn't that something to be proud of?

The only thing that I've ever been proud of in life was when I got an offer from my university. As that was the only thing that I ever truly worked hard for. Everything else has been given to me on a platter. Not that I'm ungrateful of course, but I'm trying to illustrate a point - try hard, achieve something (which I know you can do), and then life can be very rewarding.
